The scope involved new rear extension, new bathrooms, large glazed sliding doors, glass box winter garden to create a feeling of space and light, and extensive refurbishment of remainder of the house.

The scheme involved circa £85K of high specification glass.

The project was designed by a Telegraph Newspaper residential award-winning architect.

SCOPE: The project involved two super prime new build mansions, including swimming pool, gym, basement living space, underground car park, cinema, specialist AV system, grand entrance hallway & staircase, extensive marble, stone and other high end finishes, home automation, high-tech mechanical and electrical services, art studio, extensive landscaping and many other rooms and features associated with the super prime market.


The project was to be phased with a 'shell and core' first phase and the tenders were returned in line with FES cost advice.

SCOPE: New build Coach House in a secluded private development. 


FES negotiated the contract award sum with the preferred contractor.

We maintained a comprehensive log of client changes and variations to manage and keep the current anticipated cost up to date.


FES during difficult stages of the project, intervened as 'mediator' between the parties to mantain smooth progress towards successful completion of the project.

SCOPE: 850 m² new build mansion with refurbished outdoor swimming pool


FES were engaged by a main contractor tendering for the work and we produced a schedule of quantities and cost estimate for submission. 

The contractor sucessfully negotiated the contract award with the private client to build this circa 9,000 ft sq 'arts and craft' style mansion.


CONTRACT VALUE: The total build cost was in excess of £2 MILLION

FES assisted the client by preparing pre-contract documentation in the form of detailed scheduled of works with quantities and managed the tender process.

We managed to receive three competitive tenders and gave the client feedback on the cost of the lowest tender.


SCOPE: The finished product involved a large extension, new bathrooms, new rooflights and full internal refurbishment with unusual finishes of polished concrete walls and floors, all specified by a well renowned interior designer.


CONTRACT VALUE: circa £700 K.

FES were recommended to assist with a contract terminated; we were appointed by private client and tasked with closing out a dispute encountered with a contractor. FES defended  the client's financial interests and negotiated/agreed final account that SAVED the client approx.£30,000 to £40,000; FES Fees were approx. 5% only of the total saving achieved.
